Best band ever?
Burdnt Jamb FTW!
but yeah I agree, one of the best bands ever. Even their last three albums, which are poor in comparison to Blue and Pink, are really good in many ways.
not 'for the win' but 'eff tee dubya'.
its slightly more annoying than you might think
I'd totally forgotten about that song. There's a lot of good stuff on Maladroit but I tend to forget about it for some reason.
Anyway in answer to the question - no, but probably in my top 20 favourite bands. And Green is so underrated, I'd rate it alongside the first two.
The first three albums, yes.
On the basis of the last two, no.
But then there aren't many bands who make two records as good as Blue and Pinkerton. It's enough to make me forgive Rivers Cuomo for being a nutcase and for We Are All on Drugs...
dull as ditchwater, half-arsed powerpop.
Pinkerton - Best album ever?
Green - still really good
Maladroit - Great
Make Believe - Really, really, bad.
Still, Perfect Situation and Peace were really nice sing-a-long kinda songs at one of the best gigs I've ever been to.
They're probably the best live band I've ever seen. And top three for in general.
saw them about 4 or 5 times and only 2 of those were really good, but when the ywere good they were GOOD! haha dancing round to only in dreams covered in glitter and confetti was good :)
One was okay, I guess. Not amazing.
The other was absolutely brilliant.
I think it alol depends on Rivers' mood...
I saw them four times - twice they were amazing, the other two times they were bad, and at one Rivers didn't even seem to know where he was - although that was in his beardy, "don't look me in the eye" phase.
That's a choon!
I wish I'd seen them live =[
were bottled by disgruntled Gun N Roses fans
has been my favourite album for close to a decade now
yeah they're great, or were great. whatever.
hey here's a NEW Rivers Cuomo demo called Pig. It's a welcome return and I'd sorta like to see Rivers maybe do an acoustic solo album? Anyway, http://www.theclerisy.com/afor/ scroll down a bit.
ooooh, look where it links to. Looks like the Weez are getting back on it.
not overly impressed, but it could be made to work, his guitar writing skills are dreadfull these days though.
listened to blue today, i still love it pieces. that and pinkerton are just stunning
Make Believe is much better than it.
I love weezer, maladroit was piss poor though, best not letting your fans choose what songs you put on an album..
blue, pinkerton and green are amazing though.
Album six is in the works though Rubin said in an interview, not sure whether to be more excited or worried.
