It says this on their website: "Singer-songwriter Juliana Meyer releases her stunning debut album, showcasing her catchy pop jazz tunes with her band."
...it says this Juliana Meyer, whoever she maybe, has been re-scheduled to the 14th. Ignore me.
Bloody hell, I assume there's no tickets left?
if you were a member of the fan club, you got an email about it
this could be linked to the thread about being bitchslapped by larger bands
I won tickets :D
but i'm going to linkin park instead
because i'm cleverer (not the reason)
i love him, the big ginger rogue
I knew I should check my hotmail. ARSE ARSE ARSE.
and that pleases me
and despite being a fanclub member and a rekordrekords board member, I got shit all.
...Josh T Pearson at the Slaughtered Lamb it is. Hardly a bitter chalice.
according to some people on qosta.com
still, mega gay. I will get wireless tickets now, as Sick Sick Sick is polluting my head in the best possible way.
I love it when a band you love suddenly comes back with some serious fuckin' tunes.
Would quite liked to have seen this :-(
a small-medium sized venue in Paris next week, have got a ticket for that. Show was originally scheduled for June, but brought back a couple of weeks ago
How was it?
of spending all my time on this board if i dont even find out when one of my favourite bands are playing stupidly awesome sounding gigs right near me?
it was ace.
ACE, I tell you.
In a quite punk rock move, they came on half an hour early.
It was quite a short set.
and it was
ROCKED, I tell ya
seriously, it was crazy!
It's high on my list.
They played some good ones. I love 'Little Sister'
I had tickets to see them at Rock City back in October 2002 but I broke up with my boyfriend and he got them & I got the Foo Fighters ones. I saw them at leeds 2005 but I was way, way back but last night I was pretty much sat on Josh Homme's lap. Lovely.
They had an great setlist, nothing at fault what so ever apart from the atompshere was great for the front rows but when you moved back, it was full of record company execs just nodding their heads.
I saw Bobby from primal scream, Carl Barat and Zane Lowe and we THINK that we saw one of the mighty boosh. if not, a very very good lookalikey.
Hope the sight of that little Bobby chap didn't spoil the occasion too much for you.
Mr Kayleia saw the front. We didn't say anything like!
but it did remind me how much I hated Primal Scream.
i think hes worked on the album or something with them, but very sure it was him
Mmmm, that's slightly worrying. Last gig I saw him at was 'Death In Vegas' years ago. There was a guy standing behind him burning holes in his leopard skin coat with his cigarette. Shouldn't have laughed but..!
