Are just amazing right now.
This month alone they have released 3 potential albums (OK, 1 is an EP) of the year.
Deerhunters EP Florescent Gray is amazing, I prefer it to Cryptograms actually, it's simply beautiful, this band can't do a lot wrong right now.
Andrew Pekler's new album Cue is also amazing. It's inspired by the Electronic Library type recordings from the 70's you can pick up in Record Exchanges for about a quid at a time. If you like Tim Hecker's work (Also on Kranky!) the you will probably love this stuff:
And lastly Valet's Blood is Clean which is quite hard to describe really. It's kinda psych vocal work with at times quite strange instrumentation. Valet sounds like Kim Gordon's Sonic Youth songs if her songs were half the speed or slower. Um, I've made a pig's ear of the description but it's really good, listen here:
So yes, Kranky records can really do no wrong right now.
