They're recording it right now. The following image is of the pedal setup they are using:
Sweet fucking jesus.
I recognise that floor.
I actually do...
just turn up the one that says 'distortion,' and see those three that say EQ? Put the middle one down a bit and the other two up a bit.
on the myspace blog makes for a good read, especially all the little messages they leave on the mixer.
Imagine putting them all one at once...
I couldn't be arsed trying to remember all the settings for everything.
Imagine if something cut out? It must be a nightmare to maintain and transport that lot!
(Maybe i'm just jealous of the pedal-age)

fender blender is the sound of apocalypse.
basically look like fenders that have been melted out of shape. they're amazing.
I only use 3 pedals. Distort, Delay, Tuner.
Keep it simple and tha....
he asked me if i was reading their recording blog and then went on to describe as being "pedal porn". i concurred.

I saw a picture of mike eisenger(sp?) with his rig and it was the coolest thing... ever.
But it's impressive nonetheless. This album better be good.
In a nice link, this guy played for The Mars Volta. He also plays for Beck. He has mahousive amounts of kit.

Because it's cool.
And this one time, our guitarist broke about 9 strings on stage and so I ended up turning on every effect I had and playing all his parts. It was a wild ride.
I'd love to have seen that.
I think that was when we supported 65 Days... Guntrip would be able to back me up if he'd not been too drunk to remember that night.
Almost enough to make you wanna be in a band again. Almost.
id love to run across the board and see what sound it came up with.
It just plays all their songs. The rest of the band are just very well designed androids.
with a guy wearing national health specs and a lab coat to monitor it.
Rock 'n' Roll!
were you in stealthy?
We were called Soviet Method. 'Soviet' because there were lots of bands with Russian-centred names at the time and we needed to fit in - and 'Method' because band names should include words like "Theory" or "Conspiracy" or "System".
Funnily enough, our drummer used to play bass and stuff for Youthmovies back when they first started. But they decided to replace him with someone who turned up for practises and wasn's a complete dosser.
