Pavement

Calump [Edit] [Delete] 5 replies 19:03, 23 April '07

Does anyone know if/when Pavement are planning to release special editions of Brighten The Corners or Terror Twilight in the same way they have with their first three albums?

And if they do, will they be as good as the other three?

  • Don't know

if they are planning to release them. If they do I can't see it being till next year. There's been a fair amount of time between the previous ones. I'd read somewhere that they had used up all the old recording on the first three re-releases but there's bound to be more somewhere.

As for will they be as good....well, depends how much you liked them the first time round. I think Brighten is the weakest album but then I know plenty of people who says it's the best.

    • Yep

they're gonna re-do BTC fo' sure. There's an old interview with Malkmus on Pitchfork I think where he says that extra stuff for the WZ reissue was a struggle, but there's a tonne of unreleased stuff around the BTC era that is even better than what they put on the album or summink.
