An new low point in the history of XFM?
People in my office were raving about them yesterday. *sigh*
XFM has long ceased to be London's Alternative Station, and is now merely a vehicle for indie chart fodder with the same songs played repeatedly every hour between 7am and 7pm.
The specialist shows have moments. As does that hour in the middle of the day when they play some old stuff. But other than that, it's up and indie cul-de-sac with a blindfold on, trying to reverse out and consistently hitting the 'No Parking' signs.
