WHAT THE FUCK?!
yeah. Which is part of the reason i find her so annoying now.
It was her and three others.
At The Club > most things ever
i thought she was just *in* Kenickie?
Rick Witter was in Shed Seven. Mark Morris was in the Bluetones. Anymore?
was in take that?
"Lauren Laverne *was* Kenickie! If Marie and Emmy-Kate think they can reform without her there'll be trouble, I tell you!"
(And yes, I know Marie and Emmy-Kate formed Rosita, but that's different)
I just thought she was the pretty girl off the Culture Show :(
the fat dude who was runner up in some tv contest?
who tried to create the next Oasis?
Oh yeah, I remember buying "A Maximum High" when I was 17 and thinking it was ace.
2 years later when I saw sense I made sure my house was empty and ventured outside to place it in the bottom of the dustbin.
Truly woeful band.
Rick Witter, Paul Weller and Rick Waller are forming a supergroup of sorts called......
"Witter Weller Waller"
arf arf arf
10 years ago. They were not all that.
I was stunned when she moved to broadcasting but she is far better at her new career than she was fronting a MOR 3/4 female punk outfit.
I always thought he looked like a mint yoghurt man.
chilli sauce all the way
i spent £20 on plastic sleeves for my 7" singles today! +200 points to me!
utterly, utterly wrong
kenickie once at breeze festival in leeds, i also saw East 17 (post brian harvey's drug revelations and called E17) at the same festival a year or two later, can i have his indie points?
confession, your indie points remain
J Xaverre was Kenicke.
i can't remember.
Let's just say we're all Kenicke, somehow.
spelling Kenickie wrong don't i?)
I know where the name J Xaverre comes from and Pete doesn't.
Except now he's http://www.myspace.com/georgewashingtonbrown
So that little turd has ripped off Van Dyke Parks...lost all respect, frankly. I liked Kenickie, JXaverre were okay cos they covered Dennis Wilson, but you gotta cite your influences.
was great (apart from Something's Got To Give). Side 1 (apart from I Would Fix You) sounds like all that electropop Popjustice love so much if were produced by a bat. It goes for a shitload on eBay.
The same person is selling At The Club with much the same time left and with the highest bid under a fiver.
i've still got those at home. i won't sell them though. Nope.
what? Am i missing something? Why is it £24.50? I'm sure I bought mine from music and video exchange for about £2, though admittedly this was probably about six or seven years ago! Were not many made or something?
mine was 20p from a bring and buy sale. it had previously had a home in a library. i don't think i'd pay £24.50 for it, though it's ok.
i've tried to mentally block out Grease's existence for a while now.
keep up! Why do you think anyone cares about her?
And she also duetted with Neil Hannon on the Divine Comedy's moderately successful comeback single 'Come Home Billy Bird (International Business Traveller)'. It made 25!
Lauren Laverne is an annoying cock-end.
'What is your idea of perfect happiness?'
The feeling I get in my chest when I hear the start of Joy Division's Love Will Tear Us Apart
She emits an endless stream of trite bollocks, plays crap music and is ugly.
ROLLEYES back at you.
and her accent is sosososoososososososo hot
