Old albums marathon day !
From time to time I dig in a mountain of Cds to find albums I haven't listened for years...
Today so far :
Fiji
Inner Sleeve
Subcircus ( are you receinving ? )
the Strawberry Smell
Cotton Mather ( Kontiki )
I think I'll choose Superstar Disco Club after...
i don't know any of them
can you sum each one up in one word please.
...
Fiji - Jamie between Scarfo and the Kills going crazy.
Inner Sleeve - Simon Scott ex Slowdive come-back band. Experimental / Shoegaze
Subcircus - britpop latecomer with strange voice and orchestrations
the Strawberry Smell - drugs and 6Os pop influenced frenchmen
Cotton Mather - classic pop, Gallagher's old favourite.
I have
Carousel by Subcircus. Not a bad album, 86'd is great.
'Carousel'
is a good post-britpop album.
'Are you receiving' is stranger...
Sounds interesting
and, for the second time today, have taken a chance based on your recommendation and ordered it off amazon market place...£1.98. Call me rash if you like!!
I think it was produced
with the US in mind.
Subcircus were more successful there...
I dont know what any of these things are
the strawberry smell sound good despite the terrible name.
Ive been feeling nostalgic and listening to spacehog this morning. ace
give them a listen...
