Since when were The Good The Bad & The Queen big enough to headline?
Still, like last year, the headliners mean nothing.
i want to go..
I went last year, it was good. Saw Mogwai, part chimp, lords, lemonheads, regina spektor etc. Yeah, AND snow patrlol.
It was ace, sat around watching comedy for ages, bought a finger puppet disguised as a penguin, and saw Part Chimp, Giant Drag, Mercury Rev and Mogwai. And the site was nicely spaced out.
the logistics of going for just one day - can it be reached easily from a train station? (Ie coming up from London)
Halesworth train station and there are shuttle buses from there.
It took me and the missus a few hours to drive up from Reading, it wasn't too much hassle though as it seemed quite a small festival. We did look at travelling by train, but it seemed to be quite a lot of effort- it wasn't within walking distance of a station and to get the last train we would have had to have missed Mogwai I think.
sunday night camping then?
but i'm not 100% sure.
Instead we Travelodged it- did you know that the Lintern Travel Tavern in Alan Patridge doesn't actually exist? :-(
(It would have been ideal being equidistant between Norwich and London)
and not only is there sunday night camping, there's also now provisions made for day ticket holders who can't get home :)
Might wait for a few more bands to be announced though..
I wanna go!
