I bought this for a fiver in hmv at the weekend. Good album.
sadly they aren't very fashionable anymore so it didn't really get the recognition i think it deserves.
and how good are Hundred Reasons live? Very, that's how good.
I've not seen them since they toured 'ideas above...', but I definatley want to see them again soon.
I heard kill your own in topman a while back, didn't realise it was them, so to hear that on the album is a bonus too.
'ideas above . . .' supported by Errortype 11 and Hell is for Heroes if I remember rightly. Great lineup.
on one tour, I'm not sure which.
I just know it was fantastic.
think it was for Shatterproof?
I saw this show in Leicester. Good, good times. I still have a HIFH 'sweat band' True.
HIFH live, awesome stuff.
on that tour as well. Senses Fail were pretty good I thought. Biffy left me feeling a bit 'meh' and HR were ok. I don't think I was in the right mood though, after being kicked in the head by some nice crowd surfer. :(
and the next one where the support was Stapleton and Cave In. AWESOME!
and they're still fantastic live. Pauls replacement doesn't go as mental on stage as Paul did, but that means they actually sound a bit better - Paul was brilliant but because he jumped about so much he played a few bum notes, that doesn't mean its better or worse, just different.
And in the absence of Paul, they let the crowd sing most of Pauls vocals, and that sounded awesome, yes, awesome.
that he hasn't been on. Now they have a chap called Ben who also plays in the Lucky Nine - he is good, he fits in fine and is appropriately ROCK.
Yet people still want to slag it off.
Great live band too, their performance at Download last year was faultless.
But I've always thought they could do much better...
Hundred Reasons are irritating, because each album will have one or two songs that are pure gold and the rest will be average at the very best - meaning that each album is average. Including this one.
Also - their drummer is pretty much the most redundent member of any band since Bez. He brings down every song.
Just pure genius!
if anyone cares, they're currently recording their 4th album in Riga so it should be out sometime this year. It will be interesting to see if they keep up the good work and momentum after KYO.
