but she's loike mega indebted to patti.
that does the backing vocals on Gimmie Shelter. Awesome.
she's done some solo stuff too.
Hmm. I'm not sure of that many. Women screeching kinda puts me off, although I do like a lot of female vocals in general. Some, I like (Karen O, PJ Harvey...) most, I can't cope with.
Edith Piaf, whoop!
Well my favourite female vocal performances are stuff like Sinead O'Connor, Tori Amos and Suzanne Vega. But they're all a bit tweebly-deedly. Emotional and stuff though.
I'm allowing them. Yes I am.
i love that song so much
on Handsome & Gretel by Babes In Toyland

It's not a bad album. Just reet overrated.
of The Sam I Am on 'Your Conscince Or Mine'.
on 'Let It Fall' live. Fucking immense, especially the bit where she slips Pixies lyrics in near the end. The image of her at Glastonbury, in high heels and an evening dress, standing on one foot with her guitar above her heading, screaming "LOSING MY PENIS TO A WHORE WITH DISEASE!!!" will stay with me to the grave.
Ownz all of deez.
Seriously though - ass kicking in a beautiful and emotive way.
Kate Bush - Cloudbursting.
There are times when it drives me close to tears, especially the "its cloudbursting daddy" bit.
"Reasons To Be Beautiful" maybe or "Violet"
Miss World for me.
Every fucking time.
just now, her debut album on Atlantic from 1967. Amazing voice and back then this album must have really made waves
