They were good fun.
Strange that someone talked about them a couple of days ago...
And I met my first DiSer !
I discovered there was a DiSer in Paris by reading a recent music thread...
i don't know who it is. i'm sorry.
an explosions in the sky thread...
were they pleasant?
I said they were good fun !
And I bought their 2 albums...
I saw them in Reykjavik and have both their records - good stuff.
Are you going to go again tomorrow night - they're doing 2 nights at Fleche d'Or right?
I like what I am reading....
but I don't think I will.
This venue isn't very good for your hears...
in London at the Luminaire. Wasn't very busy, and they had deck chairs out so we got to sit on them at the front which was quite strange.
They were amazing anyway, all ten or so of them, but shame they never played I Can Love You In A Wheelchair, Baby. They don't seem to be coming back to England on their Europe tour, bah.
& yes, both albums are great. Kajak's so far my favourite album this year.
Kajak is ace !
Venue was a bit of a discovery as well. Free shows most days of the week. Blood Red Shoes and Jamie T are playing there next week.
Will have to pick up their albums. The merch stall was un-Benni manned when I visited it
Blood Red Shoes played a couple of months ago.
It was so noisy...
Did you see the support band, Flis? [with an accent over the i] I liked them especially.
