its not fair.
hate them with envy
humph... I will enjoy the 1990s instead but, ykna, tis no the same...
the 1990's are rubbish. I am seeing cursive tonight. Wooooooooooop!
I said I would be enjoying them, not you - does your tiresome babling mean I will be enjoying them any less? Doubtful, so shush...
i wish you luck in enjoying them, you'll need it.
and if you're not you could try this:
The Last King of Scotland
Oh I'm an exciting man
it was ok. i wasn't totally blown away, really, but i enjoyed it. tim kasher seemed quite uptight and disinterested at first, but loosened up a lot during the set and seemed to be enjoying it by the end.
no cello, though :'(
i quite enjoyed it, and thought Kasher was funnier than i expected (there weren't that much 'banter' the last time i saw them). his facial expression during art is hard was priceless.
sound was pretty good if not loud enough.
the sound was the best i've ever heard at the barfly. i was staggered by how good it sounded.
they seemed a bit tame. and seconded no cello though :(
i expected it to be a lot more aggressive.
tim kashers comedy stylings made up for it, especially when he talked about the encore, he is a funny man with a funny face, I rememberduring a goodlife gig as he sang the word 'coincidence' and raised one quizical eyebrow, it still makes me smile
I wouldn't say it was amazing but they played really well and they were fun. I kinda thought, whilst watching them, that I guess it's fair enough that they don't have the stage presence of say MMISL, which is pretty much all I'm used to these days, because at the end of the day they're exactly 20 year olds are they. But Tim was funny, and Ted's a legend, and hopefully when I see them tonight they'll be just as good.
although the hilarity of the night might be swaying my opinion. Anyone got a setlist?
cursive are definitely one of my favourite live bands
i too thought the sound was really good for a barfly show.
was a good gig, got better as it progressed, the "encore" was fantastic especially.
went and saw tim kasher at lunchtime, just him and an accoustic, great to hear a few songs stripped down like that.
where was that?
in camden. didn't seem to have been publicised at all besides some posters in the dublin castle.
no one told me, oh well kingston instore 2moz billed as cursive but might be the same
at about half midnight last night. and i drank so much i forgot about it :'(
