Sounds like classic Albini : plug everything in, press record.
Thanks for these - sound very raw and live and in yo' face. Good to get to hear them! Cheers
you are right, it's not perfect, but it's a bit like having a well-recorded radio session or something. 'public witness program' sounds rad.
enjoyed the rarer stuff from your inner ear demos as well, reminded me i'm still missing 'the word' and 'in defense of humans' in their released forms.
i forgot that the word has actually been released. the version on the dischord box set may even be a cleaner version of the demo i posted, i forget?
..if i remember. but probably still clearer than that demo.
i think you're right.
it's 'burning' live and a studio version of 'the word'. close enough.
could i have a link
Didn't he say that he wouldn't have made the album sound as good as it eventually did?
He's got plenty of punch. I like Great Cop, it's really hard. If the vocals was a bit better and the guitars were less murky, it would be amazing.
is returning the screw. The others arent as good. Guy Picciotto's vocals are crap on the whole thing!
if they did the vocals again these versions would be the absolute cat's pyjamas.
fugazi + handclaps
