i hope it's better than LoveKraft.
In fact, it's my second favourite SFA LP thus far...
Do you know what it's called?
And what's your favourite?
my copy of it isn't titled.
My fave is Rings, followed closely by this one/Fuzzy/Radiator/Guerrilla all at no. 2
i think Rings is my favourite album ever.
shall we try and create a 'Top 20 albums released in your lifetime' thread?
but i think my top 20 favourite albums were released in my lifetime anyway.
Why don't we do a top sixty six albums? That number sticks for some reason.
I was also a bit miffed with Love Kraft. the only album of theirs that I dont really enjoy.
I really hope that the other band members dont pick up the microphone and they forget that Brazillian influenced sound they tried to copy.
RATW is good but they defining moment was their debut. Fuzzy Logic is in my top 10 albums of all time.
I think they've been consistently great throughout - Love Kraft is their weakest for me, and it's still very good.
I seem to be the only one on DiS who actually likes Lovekraft - it's lovely and mellow.
hopefully this means they'll be playing some festivals too.
Also, I'm sure i remember reading somewhere the Gruff said SFA had 2 albums ready to be released - one loud and one quiet. Has anyone else heard anything along those lines?
is particuarly poor. It just tries to incorporate an awful lot of techniques which the band have never used on any previous recordings.
I found it slow and unsatisying as I prefer their faster, poppier songs. I appreciate that this is not how everyone feels.
I have not heard anything about 2 albums but am excited at the thought now.
i just know they can do much, much better.
It contains the only SFA song which is actually unbearable: Walk You Home.
Excited by this. :D
I think it's a lovely song :(
I don't think it is anywhere near as crap as, say "Back on a Roll" which is utter shit.
it sounds like the soundtrack to a particularly embarrassing 70s porno. Back on a Roll is flimsy, but not as bad as those strings and that guitar.
HURRAH! OTHER ASSORTED EXCITING WORDS!
