ok which band members of good bands are now in crap bands
alex Ex blur: wig wam
and also, I don't think he's crap.
omar and cedric (TMV aren't SHIT but atd-i >>>>>>>>>>>>> TMV)
I find the two bands hard to compare. I reeeeeeeeeeeealllly like both. I'd probably plump for ATD-I, but its a close run thang.
the good the bad and the queen
Suede - one of the best bands of the early 90s.
The Tears - one of the worst bands in the history of popular music.
Fingers crossed he redeems himself as a solo artist.
ex member of an ex good band now/(was?) in another ex good band who are now crap (degrassi)
ligament > part chimp, not to say ver chimp are bad but ligament were untouchable-
oh hold on joe just left to reform Kling Klang, who are totally gash. there you go!
he left Deerhoof to do his other band The Curtains fulltime. Why?! Deerhoof are phenominal, whereas I really find The Curtains to be boring and unmemorable.
reminds me, when Pete Mengade left Helmet he joined a band called Handsome, who were really good except for the singer who was this nasally one octave wonder with a gift of mangling the english language into the worst lyrics possible..
Jonah Matranga's entire career? Since Far its been pretty much a vertical drop
New End Original were really good. 'Hostage' stands up with anything Far ever did. His Onelinedrawing is very hit and miss but the hits were f'ing awesome.
Hostage, thats a good song, but it ends there. All the rest of Thriller is really poor, as is his OLD stuff. What was the name of that band he tried to do fairly recently? It was abysmal.
And yeah, they were dreadful. He was going through his, "maybe I'll just sell out a little bit and make some cash since I've been skint forever" phase, which he quickly regretted, as no-one bought the album.
I like most of thriller, to be honest. Though I must say that when it's bad its cringe worthy.
One Line Drawing was brilliant though.
to be fair. Mostly guff, yeah, but still. The Greatest Wonder was pretty nice as I remember. Had one of those lovely bittersweet lyrics Jonah does so well:
"You can't save someone from death/but you can love them while their dying."
The big soppy girl.
Gratitude = dog milk
Only Gratiude have been meh...
Not bad at all (musically)
Tom '7 hours' morello...
Though, I am aware of the recent news
ex-OTC, now in The Sunshine Fix.
...with The Sunshine Fix!
I was actually going to post "Johnny Marr" aswell, but someone already beat me to it.
Except Curtis. Cos he's dead, innit?
