The last Suede album and last Manic Street Preachers album.
Thank god for good sense. Though maybe £1 is too much?
not listened yet.
Have listened. Not very good.
Saxon are not my cup of tea.
looked like a cheap cash in compilation thing.
There's A Riot Goin' On
In that order, wot is chronological. All cheap, all brilliant.
At what point did everyone else stop buying albums by bands they really liked? As in, you own them all, up until a point?
Manics - I bought the first three, then blanked Everything Must Go.
Suede - I bought Head Music. Which, in retrospect, was probably one step too far.
Radiohead - I stopped at OK Computer. And you can all hush with your 'Kid A RULZZZ!' nonsense. I refuse to believe it, and I'm very stubborn :) Although I did accidentally buy Amnesiac for 50p, but I don't think that counts.
is rather good. i've just rediscovered it. i stopped buying blur records when 13 came out.
stopped buying trail of dead with worlds apart.
in fopp i have recently bought for a pound each:
siouxsie and banshees - seven year itch live
todd rundgren - liars
loudon wainwright - live
did you buy 13 or was it the first Blur album you didn't buy?
i havent listened to it yet tho, i might do so tonight, and then report back!
Even if I know I should have stopped with 'Wish'.
I'm beginning to think it's time to stop with Low...
I think i'll only be disappointed by them now...
Still will buy the albums...
Old habits don't die !
bananarama for £3
That shocked me.
Got them upto Rings Against the World -seemed to lose the spark
Guerrilla? I can't remember. I have the first four albums though, I thinks. Not including Mwng. But including Out Spaced. I'll shut up now.
Guerilla is the worst one!
Hmm. it's a tricky biznizz, this buying albums lark.
is really gud tho.
what, the double cd version? If so I may have to get that
reign in blood
and seasons in the abyss for £4 each.
for a quid. That's pretty good value, as it's a fine album. The whole of the Leaf Label back catalogue was being flogged for £1!
leaders of the free world for £3 and sonic youths daydream nation for £5...both are good...im tempted to say i prefer the elbow one...
but i have to share my joy! This weekend I picked up the first bluetones album in a charity shop for £1!
east street and steal all the good stuff before i got there.
well not the good stuff as such, but you got stuff.
is worth buying for that price. There are a couple of good songs on it.
Worth a quid for 1985 alone.
Louden Wainwright? Caribou? Manics?
None of those were a quid round our way, it were only Blak Twang and a cheaply-made John Holt Love Songs compilation.
when I've been in :( I did manage to get the last Caribou album and a Mommy and Daddy album, which was disappointing.
by Ween is my local one. It's patchy, but then they all are aren't they?
