dont you hate it when this happens? its the first sign of creative death. case in point: Blur - Top Man
automatically be a throw away song though? Why shouldn't that too be home to quality songs? IT SHOULD.
i guess i'm talking about bands that seem to have a clear division. blur for example, always kept the best stuff for the lps and other than a few exceptions (young and lovely being the main point) the bsides were rubbish. and then on great escape there are a few songs like topman and mr robisons that are just so lazy.
but i totally agree, some of my favourite songs of all time r bsides.
or is that not very good?
perhaps it's true, but it depends on the band.
for that one. but you could tell they were in a creative lull by the time of escape. too much coke.
also: the gloaming.
which actually sounded like most of the amnesiac b-sides.
Bones is brilliant!
to me means "experimental".
it will be very bad right?
- Mother Dear.
Top Man is probably the worst Blur song ever. I love Blur, but this song was ridiculous.
'Oh i do want to be Bside the seaside' by er cliff richard or whoever.
