Does that mean the people behind Roadrunner won't have control of what they put out?
but apparently there are no staff changes.......?!
for a slew of Nickelback re-issues! Thanks major label money!
a share anyway?
or do their distribution?
besides, Roadrunner are pretty much money hawks anyway - i have no idea if they still do it, but i remember when i was 17/18 that seemingly all of their records used to get "special edition" treatment within a year of release - so i can't imagine it'll make that much difference.
And Nickleback.... *shudder*
But they've also put out some of the finest metal releases to date. Something that should be remembered.
several Coal Chamber albums.
i don't actually have a clue what happened, but they still annoyed me
acquired a 7.35% share I think so it's not that big a deal i don't think. It's probably some form of collateral offsetting their risk - perhaps Warners will now distribute, dunno tiz idle conjecture that bit.
are a bunch of shitpeddlers anyway
half of Sub Pop as well?
I thought Roadrunner were part of one of the majors anyway. Shows how much I know.
part of universal (distributed) anyway. but in the past a few roadrunner adopted bands like poison the well have found there way on to warners
