It's totally grown on me.
(new Patrick Wolf single)
maybe it's just it's involvement with edward larrakin, or maybe it's just that it's rubbish...
Every since I saw Patrick do a PA of it in the middle of a flashing disco floor in a Mayfair basement. It's just silly electro-disco. We should expect more from our Patrick, perhaps... but we'd only be let down.
but i was pretty put off by Bloomsbury, like. but yes, maybe i expect too much...
you can't even HEAR edward larrikin on it. In fact, i'm not entirely convinced he even *is* on it.
I still think it's decidedly average, but certainly not shit.
it's just fun. I didn't like it at first because it wasn't what I was looking for from a new Patrick Wolf single, but it's a good song in it's own right.
for complimentary adrenaline
best i can do
some clever label person's idea no doubt.
I wholeheartedly agree with this sentiment.
I detect no traces of anything that isn't Patrick. Larrikin wut?
"Accident & Emergency’ was written, arranged and produced by Wolf and also features the voice of Edward Larrikin from Larrikin Love."
but maybe i'll give it a chance
Ha. in your face larrikin.
"so what happens when you lose everything?"
That is the extent of his input. Good thing, too.
A slightly different voice
I didn't notice.
it's the first Patrik Wolf i've 'got' actually. Yes yes, i know.
Don't know why I had such a big turn around
But in the long run, I'll see it as an average song from Mr. Wolf.
and the song sounded...ok. What worried me is that it's the single from the album. You see, I think "adrenaline" is exactly what the song lacks, which doesn't bode well for the rest of the album.
These Animal Men. :-(
