Best band ever?
my favourite band in the world.
to stupid computer. he told me.
Sung Tongs for me. Your turn.
feels! it's more 'rounded'. although sung tongs almost takes it on the strength of 'kids on holiday' and 'we tigers' alone.
the EP with vashti? that's, like, bare good. as is campfire songs.
The first track just makes me want to curl up in bed and pull the duvet over my head and stuff.
almost, at least
Danse Manatee, Here Comes The Indian & Hollindagin. I know they're alot more 'difficult' than the other AC stuff but there's plenty of amazing moments buried within the weirdeness.
but the best live band right now
Peter Sallis - the best actor ever?
Jim from Doves - best singer ever
World of Leather - best sofas ever
ever ever ever blah - they're an ok band but really for crying out loud (and in private)
what about bob deniro?
he was stating fact.
feels>sung tongs>here comes the indian>prospect hummer>spirit...>danse>campfire songs
definitive! (I don't have hollindagain :( )
... ok maybe a little special. but over hyped. reminds me dave wants to form a collective. I wonder if we will have a *word* collective name?
this is the 3LP boxset list
it will be
one early show/danse era side
one acoustic side
one hcti side
one solo/duo side
one side that contains the full pumkin trilogy
one sung tongs side
it will be releaseed somtime next year
that are still producing music. I love them.
All their LPs are fantastic and they have 3 amazing side projects. For me:
Sung Tongs > Feels > Campfire Songs > Spirit They've Gone > Here Comes The Indian > Hollindagain > Danse Manatee
Prospect Hummer EP (if that counts)
Spirit They've Gone
Here Comes the Indian
Hollindagain (although I do still like it)
Also, I completely adore Wastered, which isn't on any of the albums.
All of their albums are brilliant, and what's even more awesome is that it's entirely possible their next album will top them all.
don't remember starting this, must have been intoxicated. They really are my favourite band though. I think my record preference list is as follows:
Spirit They're Gone
Here Comes the Indian
I haven't heard the latest one though. Oh and favourite track? I think mine's Fickle Cycle, but there's like a million and one contenders. Once Safer is recorded it may be that..
