Stroppy teenagers love them. Now grown-ups can, too!
Not a huge fan, but anyway....My chemical romance's last studio album Three cheers for sweet revenge married breakneck goth punk to flamboyant pop melodies, selling 2.5 million copies worldwide and making them ''go to'' act for a generation of disaffected teens. Now wishing to distance themselves from the emo zeitgeist, they've concocted a startlingly ambitious concept album, complete with queen inspired solos, windswept piano ballads and Sgt Pepper-style vaudeville (Liza Minnelli even appears on the hammy momma). Fans will be baffled, but this is magnificently deranged stuff.
would you agree? My main point is why change the style of music from that you enjoy, as surely you are a musician to play music you love yes?....just for the 'pop' culture....hmm arguable i guess.
