The Pussyshat Dolls
Thats all I can think of for now :)
i cant be bothered getting worked up about the stuff i dislike when there's so much good stuff to concentrate on. i'm feeling rather hippyish today though.
most rnb makes my blood boil. e.g nelly, usher and that tosser with the dragon tattoo all over him. there are so many more, but i have locked them away in a dark corner of my mind and can't access them at the moment.
true story: i once knew a man who loved the music of celine dion, eurovision and some woman off a cruise ship reality tv show. he had a party at his house once, it was one of the worst nights of my life.
Pussycat Dolls - Beep is great.
I get angry at bands like Nickelback and Creed. And obviously stuff that's so bland it shouldn't make any impressions at all (Blunt) but instead it riles me. Pretty much all the bands I rated 0 make me angry.
It is shocking and I want to destroy them.
made me pretty angry when I got it years ago. Emo kids don't like being disappointed.
And all they stuff they play after about 1am at DiS nights
Sandi Thom above pretty much everything else. My hatred of her goes beyond rational thought.
I like the kooks :)
I don't :(
Naive is catchy but everything else is terrible. Especially the one that goes 'you don't love me the way that I love you'.
but she moves in her own way is great too!
i threw my radio across the room one morning after that song woke me up for about the 3rd or 4th day in a row. i really fucking hate it!
More if I can think of it
But The Sunshine Underground.
I'm not completly certain why either.
panic at the disco
Fall Out Boy
"In The Morning" by Razorlight
and don't hate me for saying this, but "Country Girl" by Primal Scream got right up my tits.
a pile of dige. Like 'best of you' by foo fighters, everyone went mental for it when it was the most basic, generic, broing meh meh meh song.
the guy's voice is nauseating. I'd probably like them if it wasn't for the voice.
No music really makes me angry. Particularly not silly chart pop stuff! Better just to ignore it than mount some sort of pseudo-intellectual campaign against it. Only music that had offensive lyrical content or was played by neighbours late at night would really get my gander up.
stop being so negative and talk about that.
Robbie Williams, especially after he was inducted into that music hall of fame thing as the UK's 90's representative above bands like Radiohead, to sit alongside the Beatles et al.
and im very glad girls finaly have a sexy curvy role model.
She's a walking disaster...
There is no God.
if they are in it yet, I haven't kept up with it. But I remember Robbie getting in a few years ago ABOVE Radiohead for his contribution to music. I take it you're angry too now right?
I think the people who organised it didn't much like the result either as oddly since the first year the public don't vote on it anymore, a bunch of groups/singers have been picked the last two years instead to go straight in.
The Fratellis as well perhaps, but I don't think I've built up quite enough bitterness to hate them as much yet.
because when people see you with a guitar since this year if they don't ask you to play wonderwall they want you to play something by the kooks. Which is entirely unreasonable in my eyes.
you can put a golf ball in your mouth and pretend you can sing like him, too.
also anything drum and bass-ish...
can be fun.
i have a complete aversion to it as its all my brother listens to at home and it gives me a headache. :(
I wouldn't really listen to it at home.
i'm never sure whether i own any drum and bass, or if it's just electronica, or dance
is just wrong, so wrong.
I can't really think at the moment
But just any band/artist that gets successful and doesn't deserve it is quite annoying.
I genuinely hate that song more than anything in the world.
Why the fuck is a 19 year old trying to sound like Lionel Richie? And how does he manage to be 5,000 times worse than Lionel Richie? How is that even possible?
The level of anger I feel when that song is playing honestly frightens me.
i always wanted to stove Dion and Carey's heads in, but you mellow with age, and just gain satisfaction that you are a fundamentally better person, for liking Radiohead instead of cunts
Neutral Milk Hotel
The Arcade Fire
Red Hot Chilli Peppers
sexless US indie geeks and the token fratboy funk rock-lite band
makes me want to kill people. Like Usher, or some shit. I hate it soooo much. It actually makes me physically sick.
I'm suprised no one has yet mentioned that it is actually impossible to be physically angry as anger is an emotion...
ignore me. it's late.
True, but you feel 'anger', you don't do 'anger'.
You'd be commiting 'acts of violence'
the way the thread was titled.
'Music that makes you feel angry to the extent that the anger manifests itself physically. For example one may demonstrate mental discomfort by punching things (animate or otherwise). Depending on the degree of the anger, another example may be a rush of blood to the head.
But that wouldn't have fit in the subject line.
more to come, lol
"Music that makes you angry"
"Music that makes you want to commit acts of violence"
Although that last one probably won't fit either.
I'll stop now.
Then I saw Lil Chris on the tellybox tonight.
Anyone read the interview in the Observer on Sunday?
More than they should really.
Their music makes me :(
and pretty much any idiotic band such as them..
at work sometimes one guy plays Sum 41/Limp Bizkit/Linkin Park tracks on his iPod with speakers attached.
But what's worse than listening to all of the above?
Answer: Sum 41 covering Nickelback 'how you remind me' live. That really tests my resolve.
Like, the really sunny sounding, over-optimistic slightly smug music school stuff. Stars are a prime offender.
I've just remembered. But you know what I mean.
Lots of their stuff is very sad.
Sorry, I guess optimistic was the wrong word there. I'm going to replace it with 'Saccharin'. I think you can be Saccharin and sad.
Basically, all those American indie bands who use too many instruments.
I used to get angry about shit music, but then I started ignoring it.
There's no point being angry about it, just concentrate on the stuff you do like.
i forget who it was by, but there was a line in it near the begining of the song about writing it on a piece of paper, and the anger rose
