The new Seafood album

Browno [Edit] [Delete] 8 replies 20:24, 5 October '06

Great, innit? I just got it this week, I've listened to it a few times and I really really like it. It's not quite as good as the last 'un, which is my favourite Seafood album, but it's still worth earspace.

  • Far better than the last one for me !

    And maybe their best !
Will definitely make my TOP10 at the end of the year...

    • It's

fantastic, one of those albums that really does get better with every listen. I'm with Lyle, I reckon it's their best, by quite a long way. Little Pieces is brilliant..

      • Yes it is

I intended to give another chance to the last Grandaddy just now but I think I'll listen to Seafood instead !

  • it's lovely

they were a lot of fun at 93 the other night.

    also, they played Guntrip
    :D

    • 93 ft east was ace fun

but they've didn't play Between the Noise which is fantabulous - what an awesome bass line.

New album is frickin awesome - owning a copy should be everyone's primary objective this year, and if you can't stretch that far, whack it on yer Xmas list ;->

      • Just got back

from seeing them in Brighton. Absolutely fantastic. For a band I love I really haven't seen them enogh live and I really should try and make more of an effort next time they tour.

New album is incredible to, stunningly beautiful and loud at the same time. I think it's probably my favourite record of theirs.

  • Great album.

There is absolutely no filler on this one, every track warrants repeated listens.

    • The new album

is great but live they bore me a fair bit. They were OK at 93 Feet East but I found it hard to really enjoy it for a band that I love on record.
