just puts a smile on my face whenever i play it. better than modest mouse id say.
and when I listen to it im surprised by how amazing it is
Swan Lake is one i'm really looking forward to mainly becaue of Kruger.
it is absolutely brilliant. The more I listen to it the more I like it.
they make me feel all warm and fuzzy.:)
A really good album... 'Grounds for Divorce' is a particular favourite...
la la la lalalalalalaaaaaaa
Don't know... I like it, but it's never amazed me really.
on the way home from Afterskool once and I realised that they're basically a more indierock version of The Killers.
it's an insult. i think it's an ace record.
albums, Fancy Claps is my most played song ever, or something
BUT the little threesome of Shine A Light, Dear Sons and Daughters... and I'll Believe in Anything is absolutly amazing.
At first I wasn't sure, but I've grown to love it.
Fancy Claps = amazing song.
Krug gets all the credit, I know he sings the best songs but no one ever mentions the other guy who does most of them including shine a light (I think they do sound similar so I cant be sure)does Krug write them or something
they had two singers.
because otherwise i've just made myself look well stupid, i'll go check...
One plays keyboards and one plays guitar.
thought i'd embarrassed myself there, but yeah krug only does three or four I think yet he is considered the frontman and no one knows the name of the other guy just seems weird, this thread is making me listen to wolf parade at work
..really? which songs does Krug do, and what songs does the other guy do? I always assumed it was Krug all the way, it sounds like him all the time.
Krug (maybe) does dear sons and daughters of hungary ghosts, i'll believe in anything, this hearts on fire and im not sure about the rest, the pitchfork review says it's 50/50 and alternates but im sure 8 + 9 are both Krug. It's really hard to tell the difference but though they sound so similar, I think I notice it most between shine a light and dear... but I cant even be certain then
awesome at Barfly in December. When are they touring again?
They're playing in Iceland in October, if only they'd just pop over to here.
said they were working on their next album at the moment.
Impossible to pick a favourite track, but it's not as good as Funeral.
Both bands are friends. Wolf Parade's drummer plays on Wake Up.
I had an urge to listen to this album yesterday for the first time in a couple of months. And then I see this
GET OUT OF MY HEAD!
Brilliant album. Not a patch on Funeral though, seeing as everybody seems to be using that as a comparable piece of work (?)
It's OK. Not as good as the first EP though.
into "Same Ghost Every Night" I always get goosebumps.
