i actually can't pick between them, i like both of them equally and to a limited degree.
cos i find any sort of misogyny in music, especially the offensive stuff in nwa and their successors really irritating
or as blatant.
with PE it's just odd considering how political they are, and it leaves me with a weird feeling
on the earlier stuff isn't it? she watch channel zero isn't too bad. lets not forget the 'fear of a female planet' cameo on silver boots. i doubt if chuck d was a bit sexist that kim deal would have let him anywhere near her band.
maybe i'm forgetting some uber sexist bits?
You should write them a letter, explaining the error of their ways.
Kool Thing! Gordon!
lose 50 indie points.
my excuse is that my brain is addled from dissertation. four days to go!
Silver Boots isn't even a song by either band!
sort of missing the point? The quality of the music has no bearing on whether it is morally acceptable or not.
This was meant to be a musical battle.
But a real one would be pretty cool.
Jamie_summers, I agree with you, but cant you appreciate the misogyny in retrospect ? I cant help from smiling whilst listening to NWA. The rhymes and stuff are great, regardless of the content. Obviously you cant really take the content seriously.
not really. its like i cant appreciate racism or homophobia in retrospect. immorality is still immorality despite how much time has gone past, and especially as its only about 15 years ago.
I still find Straight outta compton hilarious.
"I aint the 1" is the most ridiculous song ever.
would kill them with his MASSIVE BLACK CLOCK
although its a close run thing
YEAH LIEKW OAH I CANT TELL THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CHINESE PEOPLE EIVTHER LOLLL!
the clash vs the sex pistols.
