Whos going ?
First "home town" gig in ages. Should be amazing. IM getting my earplugs ready.
and it'll be the third time I've seen them in Glasgow in less than a year. I'll be in the press pit taking photos
I need to pay more attention.
John Peel night in Mono on 13th October and Refugee charity concert, Arches, 29th November.
Thats ok cos i probably wouldent have been able to get into any of them.
But tonight: Wahay.
don't suppose you know who the support is?
Or kid 606
something like that.
That was amazing. Mogwai fear satan = the best.
I did my usual, in early, squashed against a barrier to claim my spot to get photos. After Kid 606 I suddenly realised that because I had a photopass I was meant to be on the other side of the barrier with the security. At that exact moment all the lights went off and Mogwai came on stage, bejesus :-) You're limited to first three songs for taking photos and I'm standing in the dark dead centre stage at the wrong side of the barrier in a large crowd. Made a frantic sorry, skuze me, to get to the side, had to go out the doors and round the side of the stage, back in, through barriers and round to the front. Got there and had problems with all three cameras. Mogwai were great. Here's my photos from my digital camera, the other ones are film and I won't know how the photos are until I get them developed. All these photos have went up exactly as they came out the camera, no editing whatsover. May go back and turn some into black and white and put them up as well
some really nice photo's there as usual james :)
i'm sad i missed this :( lack of funds again, but it looks like it was brilliant. aw
