I'm currently loving Riot On An Empty Street at the moment. Great stuff
quiet is the new loud.
can do no wrong in my eyes, everything they do is gold...
EXCEPT WHEN THEY SHHH PEOPLE AT THEIR GIGS
Man that's pretentious and self important
just brilliant. people should shut up. i liked it at queen elizabeth hall when they asked the photographer to stop taking photos as they ould hear the camera whirring.
so they did a 30sec photo shoot just for him.
To do something that is so good that you literally couldn't make noise over it.
I own Quiet is the New Loud and Versus (the remix album) and I'm not sure which I prefer. Versus is one of my favourite remix albums. So THERE.
maybe I was being a bit idealistic. But I have seen that happen before and it's an very nice thing to witness.
being quiet won't really work in london because gigs will always be full of 'industry' who just hang around at the bar and yabber. or it's their mates that have jibbed in on a freebie and don't give a toss.
queen elizabeth hall for the KoC was anamazing experience. the place was sold out, everyone was sat down and you could hear a pin drop.
no-one clapped at the end of a song and until the very last note had rung out. then cue heaps of applause.
incidentally, erland oye is the funnest dj ever. funnest.
