It's still fucked, isn't it?
Thought the bastards would've sorted it out by now...
...the trackilisting at the back of my newly-purchased copy states that there are 10 tracks (there are, in fact, 12) and says that "...Dennis" is the first song (which is actually the "Intro").
I knew this problem existed when it first came out, but surely you would've thought that they'd have sorted out the duff tracklisting by now. Maybe I've bought an old copy...??
When Seafood initially released "When Do We Start Fighting". They said it was a 'joke' (a crap one, at that) but rectified it in future pressings.
If it is intentional, then it seems like a pretty pointless exercise.
but just a list of the songs on the record? rather than giving the impression that theres more songs on it than there are? (the other track is summertime den, which is basically a short version of On My Feet)
Sorry to be pedantic...
are they not in the order stated?
Because they've missed out a song - therefore, buggering up the order.
Loosely speaking, it does follow the order of the tracklisting, but it probably would've made more sense if they'd bothered putting the right order instead of a sort-of, kind-of order. Ifyagetme.
theyve listed the actual songs on the record, in the order that they come on, like you would on vinyl.
are these numbers in order
1 2 4 7 9 10
yes, and, and i dont see how "technically" they arent, or how much pedantry would stop them being.
its not the ideal situation. its the same as QOTSA's R, which has linky tracks as well.
i like what fugazi did about it on The Argument by "scratching out" the first track on the artwork, but that was part of the packaging's look.
since the day it came out.
and hadnt even noticed.
i am not very observant.
i have also left it at work, so cant look now.
