If you want my band for a gig just let me know! www.myspace.com/4or5magicians . Some people from here saw us the other day and thought we were good. Please recommend us if this was you...
^his band are good too.
And The Hundred Handed.
Sorry for drunkenly talking to you Dan. Sorry.
Ahem. They was dead good tho, innit.
You were really funny. I knew it was you and bobbygeorge - me saying "if that was you" kind of came out wrong. I more meant "you know who you are". Maybe. I don't know. Thanks though!
you have a gig in london too close to my event really...maybe another time?
Which one? Because we arent sure we are going to do the gig at Bardens on August 26th - thats only a 50/50 right now, and the one on the 16th September is a private event. So ... if you would like us to play and arent just saying that as a kind of fob off ... let me know details!
ahh...it's neither of those! it's going to be on 27th sept, which is the day after your london gig...
Good luck in finding a band - keep us in mind for the future!
I said this once before on a thread you made where you were asking people for advice on achieving a certain sound with your guitar, but 4 or 5 Magicians are really good. Like, the kind of songs you have on your My Space are the reason I laugh when people say that Tapes N Tapes have made a great album. I mean, those guys have no clue and are just being weird for the sake of being weird. Your band is different but not in a contrived way. But most importantly, you seem to have a great sense of melody. Never lose your guts, and always push yourself. I just saw Sleater-Kinney play their final two shows, and those are probably the two things they did best.
www.myspace.com/davidcronenbergswife. They're dead good. And, to be honest, much better live than on their recordings.
I'm dead excited about my new band in a chaotic Stooges/The Fall/Birthday Party kind of way but sadly we won't have any songs posted up on Myspace until the end of the week.
We now have songs posted up at www.myspace.com/theeawkwardsilences and also at www.paulhawkinsmusic.co.uk/awkward_silences.htm.
im in love with the drummer. **swoon**
