At the Spitz...so...who's going to this then?
I've never seen Keiji Haino, but I think I might have to remedy this...
or 5th of september without i think....www.wegottickets.com
and I am jealous of him. I think this is the Haino+Corsano night thing.
that 'Tenshi No Gijinka' is possibly the scariest album i've ever heard. If you listen to it with headphones it's a bit terrifying.
to the show with corsano at least
i finally got the second Fushitsusha Double Live at the weekend, and i only just put it on for the first time. so far it's more murderously heavy and fuzzy than anything i can ever remember hearing.
Ascension on the 5th, same venue. They are great - despite once getting bottled off stage at the Forum (I think) when they supported Sonic Youth.
Got up and punched the drummer at that show!
this is going to er, mess with your mind.
It's not THAT Coil, but it's fun to listen to Keiji Haino singing (admittedly a fairly bizarre sounding version of) Bad To The Bone sometimes in English.
I miss the Spitz
Now While It's Still Warm Let Us Pour In All The Mystery
I got a CD copy at an Ambarchi show last night (duo with Richard Pinhas). Features Haino playing the flute and Charlemagne Palestine playing wine glasses (!!!!)
It's pretty gnarly so far. Imzukushi is still the best thing they've done I think.
NAZORANAI (the Haino, O'Malley + Ambarchi collab) + Flower Corsano Duo
I do want to go. I was at the Nazoranai show that they recorded the record at.
last one was so mint though, will pick it up. me and poptimusgrimes sat through a bit of palestine wineglasses jamming once. not a lot mind.
reading that post I thought he'd changed his name to The Haino for a second.
