Lucky Dragons + Gay Against You - Live in london
Yay!
Lucky Dragons + Gay Against You + BBBlood
+ Thee Moths + Tiger Piss
@ The Grosvenor (Stockwell), London
8pm, £4
Lucky Dragons are so very good live, lots of beats, screaming and floor writhing. Also he usually does his special 'make a baby thing' at the end of the set, which is great fun. Video explaining said 'make a baby' thing:

And Gay Against You! Also an amazing band, all for four quid. I'm very excited.
And Thee Moths!
i wholeheartedly support this gig.
when?
AUGUST 23rd!
he's really good actually
http://www.myspace.com/luckydragons
doesn't sound paticularily screamy though
how bizarre.....
...I'm listening to Lucky Dragons at this very minute. And trying to find out where the hell in Utrecht he is playing on the 27th. I can't find anything online about it, and according to his Myspace it says it's at the centraal museum, but there is no mention there.
His live show is alot more 'energetic'
It's definatly one of the best laptop sets i've seen.
I saw this on his myspace
didn't know it was gay against you as well. that's amazing. I'M THERE.
Tiger Piss are great too

It will be a night of laptop frenzy.
This is tonight!
Come. Get Drunk. Dance.
I was planning on
but I haven't got anyone to come with :(
does anyone have any idea of wether it'll be over-18s or not?
it's a pub so i'm not sure.
whether
This.was.good
but where was homesick_alien?
nowhere in sight!
um yeah
sorry, I nevermade it out.
i was too tired.
:(
I = lame.
It was SO good
make a baby was essentially lucky dragons entire set.
g.a.y were fantastic, unsurprisingly.
lot's of banging drums too.
unfortunately someone fucked up the soundsystem so the owner got really pissed off after it all finished.
It was superb.
It was amazing.
Lucky Dragons is turning out to be one of my favourite electronic artists. The way he synched his tracks to the sounds being made by the audience was incredible. And his little dance! I bought his new album too and it's brilliant.
G-A-Y are pure fun distilled into a live show, if only I was a little drunk i'd have danced myself silly. Instead I stood looking slightly uncomfortable...
Thee Moths and G-A-Y stayed at my house afterwards and were all incredibly lovely people. There should be more gigs like this. And people should come to more gigs like this.
I so wish I went
instead I was being bored to tears by Metric. Was there a decent turnout?
Not really.
Twenty odd people. Including bands. Jamie had to pay GAY out of his own pocket. But everyone enjoyed themselves and thats what counts.
ah bollocks
Now I feel even worse! I've not seen jamie in a long while.
Are you going to GAY in Shoreditch Saturday?
GAY, Animal Collective or TDK?
I can't decide.
ahhh
I sold my TDK ticket in favour of Animal Collective - but I've yet to see GAY. The shame - do you know Mo, a friend of Jamie's?
who were you thought_dreams?
I was the king of trust.
I was wearing the regulation black framed glasses and striped polo shirt.
With longish reddy blonde hair. Of course.
I can't believe you stayed in the triangle of trust the whole time, thats dedication to your kingdom!
To John: I think I met Mo at the Gallow ATP, is she loud and Irish?
Please...
...can someone explain the Lucky Dragons set. I am in two minds about going to see them play on Sunday. Did he play anything notable from his albums, or was it all about audience participation, and then he would work with what is happening?
It was all about audience participation
he'd occasionally fade it out and he seemed to be working with it.
It was really quite amazing. You should definitely go.
she is indeed
and I was in her chalet! huzzah
that was to Thought_dreams
