"aaaooow oi've got me draownered in saound profaile loike, haow laaaverly"
(if anyone remembers the melody maker comedy pages of yore...)
Amy Blue is stoked as we've enjoyed Suede comparisons and Mr Anderson (say that in a matrix agent smith voice) is a top star who's due for a renaissance dammit.
an exclusive Rick Witter podcast coming next week?
Also, doesn't Brett look like Shaun Ryder in that picture?
looking forward to listening
in all seriousness the guys should try to interview paul draper...
if its butler, then i'd like to see you. if not, i hope you go the same way as the others very soon.
definitely very very doable
a double chin?
in Kentish Town Cash Converters today. deal?
but that shop is even fucking better - so cool. It used to be a tube station!!!
for £3 in fopp a few years back.
i still reckon its their best album, although i know im probably the only person in the world who thinks that.
first bit of that interview was er, boring as fuck, but the second half was mint and the parliament square song was great - better than that little star she did a while back that everyone hammered (was on romeo and julliet wasnt it?)
anyway, yeah i enjoyed the rare demo too..cheersDIS!
lots of people who would call scifi their best. the first album is badly produced and the singles standout from the album tracks too much, dog man IS, despite its brilliance, too overblown and again production isnt great. sci-fi catches them at so many wonderful moments when the pressure of producing a proper album wasn't on their heads. even some of the non butler songs are pure brilliance (have you ever been this low? in particular).
you know better people than me ha!
my insatiable is probably my favourite ever suede song, has anyone heard the morrissey version too? he slightly butchers it.
jumble sale mums is one of the best lyrical songs on the album i think although it sums up the area i work in far too accurately for my liking.
fucking £15 for a seymore duncan one and it sounds aaaaaaaaace
