will they get a 'bong' issue number like Dep Mode used to?

they'll get to pick their own issue number?
Good news, hurrah!
only did one single on rough trade. the album came out on different small labels across the world.
good for them, anyway. never really had much interest in them but, from what i can tell, they work really bloody hard for their success.

the album was on fierce panda.
they weren't 'dropped'. it was a one-single deal.
the album came out through fierce panda and banana recordings (their management's label).
hopefully the pitchfork thing will mean they're sell more albums and stick around for longer than people initially thought?
they have already stuck around longer than people thought!
but last time I saw them live they played practically the same set they always play and it was extremely dull...
wot adie said - its good in this day and age to see bands actually being allowed to continue with dignity after their initial releases/buzz - hurrah for Arthur Brut!
Art Brut are a liitle too traditional for Mute.
