I KNOW I'm not the only person who cares about this, nor the only person really excited about it. Again. Zonino!
I so want to go to this too. Any chance of any Midlands dates Jake?
earlier in the year was truly, truly stunning. 'Angel' may have been the best moment of my life to date.
I cried. But then I am a sentimental old fool. I wasn't the only one though. Hell no.
i would love to be at that show, but doubt money will allow it.
'Not just yet Dom. We're just concentrating on making these one-off London dates as exciting as they can be! Hopefully, if this is well received and enough people are interested, we will reform the old band and go on a full UK tour once more, but there are no plans as yet. As for now, you can buy our Greatest Hits and help convince us that people around the country are interested! I remember playing Wollaton Park in 1994...man, that was a great gig. Hot young fella called bamos in the crowd as well, as I seem to recall...'
Really? I saw them at the Leadmill in 98 and then at the Derby Vic a year later when they were a stripped down four piece, but would give anything to hear a Mornigton Crescent-biased set! Well I think I'll be heading down to London on 8th anyway.
They played something called the Heineken Free Festival. In 1993 I saw Blur, and then '94 was MLS, Chumbawamba and Cud, which at the time was as close to musical masturbation as I personally could get :)
Sounds like the pre-Britpop line-up from heaven!
if a few Britpop bands reformed and did a tour like the 80s bands did a while back.
Gene, Dodgy, Sleeper, Menswear...think of the reviews!
worst band ever.
In May, is currently one of my top gigs of 2006.
it's a girl thing = tune
that their December gig maybe more rarities/b-side based.
I like them by the way
