when will there be more, damnit! ; )
for a new announcement... too excited.
an amazing lineup already, but regardless, after last year, i'm definitely going again!
and i shall almost certainly be going, but i'm a junky in need of a fix damnit - i need more bands to stave off the greenman cravings!
and absolutely loved it, and now have this strange sort of loyalty to it that makes me not want to go to Green Man. I think I might need to arrange a Green Man vs EotR fight to get it out my system.
Twelve new additions today:
Bob Lind, David Thomas Broughton, Darren Hayman, Dirty Projectors, First Aid Kit, Herman Dune, Iain Archer, The Leisure Society, Neko Case, Richmond Fontaine, Tiny Vipers, and Wildbirds & Peacedrums.
I can also confirm the addition of our great mate Jason King. He's not on the bill, but he does say he's coming. Good guy.
Big yays to DTB, Herman Dune, and Wildbirds and Peacedrums. even bigger yays for Neko Case. Excellent stuff.
Not quite Jarvis Cocker of course, but I'm ignoring Greenman from now on. EOTR has a better atmosphere regardless of who the bands are, so I'm sticking with them : )
I'm pretending Green Man's not on. Cut me and I bleed EOTR.
I am proposing a Third Way, whereby EOTR and Green Man loyalists combine forces and take on ABSOLUTELY EVERYONE ELSE IN THE WHOLE WORLD.
And their mates.
And the police.
All at once or one at the time, it's all the same to me.
in the whole world won't stand a chance against our beards, acoustics and locally sourced organic produce...
Ready the sensitive Swedish folk squadron, unleash the woozy electronica.
but this year the last ashes test falls on the greenman weekend, and since i've just got tickets that takes priority.
but yes, next year - unity!
