Anyone going!?I'm looking forward to it!!
will be my first green man but have been to many others so extra specially looking forward to it - something new innit.
Been before? Any top tips?
My first Green Man.
it's all independent food stalls, record shops run out of caravans and the goddamn best fake-bacon sarnies ever.
I think there's going to be a heavy DiS contingent there this year! YAY! :D
First time as well. The lack of Green Man veterans on here worries me that it might actually be shit. Only joking.
Anyone know if the stages run roughly in tandem or if they finish at different times? Looks like some nasty clashes otherwise (spiritualized/black mountain, national/wildbirds & peacedrums/nina nastasia)
gutted that I can't go. Would have been my third, but I am crocked. (can't walk rather than wearing foam sandals)
Pieminister pie, spooky kids theatre, lantern parade, amazing scenery, Mumford and Sons, Pete Molinari, plus Emmy the Great and Laura Marling in the same field.
Only found out i was going last week, as my brother's working there and had a +1. Very excited!
have been maybe three or four times, a few times to the baskerville hall site then once to the glanusk park one last year.
fantastic line ups, lovely people, great food, beautiful site, and danny/jo/team green man seem to think of *everything* to make it as brilliant a weekend as it can be.
wish i was going...
last year was aces, the food is lovely, bands are obviously really well chosen, it's all good. but bloody freezing if the sun's gone away for the weekend.
I'm really looking forward to it -
amongst others I'm looking to seeing Threatmatics again - I saw them in April and they were really good
i always unearth a gem of a band when I go there...its non corpoarte, jolly, foods lovely and all done in the bosom of the brecons. Can't get much better
Can’t wait! Apparently it gets muddy at the slightest hint of rain. This true??
still not sure how im getting there!!
the same as any festival - last year it turned into the bog of eternal stench.
But! It is a fantastic party and with SFA you can't go wrong ;)
SFA will do a "Feat." Rhys Ifans for comdey value?
Saw them in Cardiff last month and here's the proof
Apparently have to arrive there by wednesday afternoon, though
Fancy meeting you on here. A certain Jonny J was telling me about you a few weeks ago just before the arse fell out, so to speak.
Yes I am going to the Green Man. Have only missed one so far.
masks, hope that stall is there again this year, got loads of friends going gutted i can't make it till early saturday morning, will still be great despite missing fuck buttons and cats in paris
