that far in advance surely?? They can barely get it right on a 5-day forecast...
Metcheck are at their most accurate in terms of advance predictions about three days before, so for six weeks you've got no chance.
I'm not sure I'd trust the predictive validity of the Met over 6 weeks-ish. Just as likely to be a freak heatwave i reckon. At least you're going though!
I'm not going to trust a 6 week advance weather forecast, and glad at least i'm going!

Rain every day, and then to cap it on Sunday:
Plenty of cloud with showers and thunderstorms.
they just put up whatever weather it happens to be today on their site till a few days before the event.
I'm happy for this to continue until the weekend- this means Latitude will have more chance of being sunny.
Of course this is not how the english summer works but it's soothing my mind at the moment.

pretty much what the Met Office long range forecast a couple of days ago said - pissing it down over the next few days, then a warm front coming in towards the end of next week. But long range forecasts aren't usually that accurate more than 3-4 days in advance.
overpaid soothsayers of the weather can predict is that yes, there will be weather.
all over the South-East that weekend, and elsewhere.
it'll be dry in places with a chance of showers in others!
