6 weeks now. go team glastonbury.
i will be avoiding them
"fuck with your hat" will repel them for a while tho
round the vegan burger stall. Damn those hippies for making tasty food.
really was worth waiting 2 years for that.
i cannae wait
the lineup keeps looking better and better!
i'm getting properly excited now!
and Cocorosie are in town that week
I really hope its sunny.
Probably not, it seems to fill up in seconds..
I'm going to camp on the slopey field sort of in front of the main stage but over to the left (if you're looking out of the stage).
Wave if you see me :)
thats the worst field there!!!!!
go to dragon field. nice toilets, nice and quiet
I'd be afraid to camp somewhere else, I have a homing device for that field..
and my band are playing too, JAG!
I know lots of people playing this year, you have to go and see the Bookhouse Boys playing in Lost Vagueness and Rogue Element doing his breakbeaty stuff :)
you played at the Dublin Castle, was it with iLiKETRAiNS? Rhona was the sound engineer I remember that much, she thought your violinist was underage :)
You're good :)
loads of people have mentioned you to me!
think we're on the Babylon Bandstand (tiny stage between the Pyramid and Other stages) at around 2 on Sunday afternoon, so if you're at a loose end come down!
will you be there for the whole weekend?
or are you doing a tour around that time?
wouldn't miss glasto for the world
pretty jokes, i've entered this competition ...
... as that's my only hope of getting tickets...yoghurt...yum. : )
I camped there a few years ago. Seemed a heavy traffic area, lots of twats around. We camped in Pennards last time, luckily far enough up the hill not to be flooded. This year we're taking a camper though, should be good.
maybe I'll take guidance and try somewhere else, I thought there were twats all over glastonbury...
I don't want to be in a floodzone tho can someone draw a map at some point and point to a good bit that doesn't flood.
last time we camped opposite and kinda to the right (as you face it) of the main stage, up towards worthy farm. There was no trouble at all and it wasn't very busy either.
The only rules I follow are don't camp next to the paths/roads and toilets and don't camp at the bottom of a hill.
perfect spot, but we had such a problem when it rained... we were right underneath the plyon.
so there's a good chance I staggered past/on your tent at some point.
but i don't think we had any problems that other people didn't have - it just depends on how crappy your tent is.
I didn't notice any pylons though..
It's absolute missions away from anywhere and up a huuuge hill. And if it's the same as last time you have to keep your ticket with you all the time.
But you do get to feel very smug when it rains.
The Good the Bad and the Queen
Manic Street Preachers
National Youth orchestra
Might watch Bloc Party, maybe Earlies. Good job there's Other, Park Stage, Peel Stage, Jazzworld, Glade, Dance Village, etc.
I just pasted it from an email I got sent. Probably should've read the rest of the email, it said about the Madness thing on there as well.
Can't believe it's only 4 weeks away now.
its bad when Amy Winehouse is the highlight isn't it?
but yeah, I don't think I saw anyone on the main stage in 2005, except New Order.
Who wants to meat me at Glastonbury? We can greet by either shaking hands or by licking one anothers face
This time next month I tells ya !!
Me and my girlfriend put up the new tent in my garden at the weekend to check it out! You can stand up in it and everything! It made me very excited ! :)
It'd be ace to meet you dove!
wicked, he was a real highlight for me last time, though not many people seemed to agree
he was so so good 2 years ago, and I don't even know why, just seemed amazing
which is friday.
