We're back at the Shacklewell Arms again this Friday, and we're very pleased to say that our guest DJs are The Wave Pictures. Hurrah! The last Wave Pictures gig I saw was at a packed Shacklewell Arms, so it'll be fun to see them DJ-ing in the same room. They'll be playing their usual super-danceable mix of indiepop, soul, rhythm'n'blues and whatever else takes their fancy. If you haven't seem them DJ before, their sets are always brilliant, and this promises to be a fantastic night. Come out for a dance!
Doors open at 11pm, the Wave Pictures DJ from midnight til 1am, and then it's me again til 3am. Admission is £4 for members and £6 for non-members, and £6 in advance. You can pick up an advance ticket here - http://www.wegottickets.com/event/317711
Earlier today, I uploaded the latest HDIF podcast. It's a round-up of some of the songs that we've played at the club over the last few months. There's indiepop, northern soul, amazing cover versions, and loads more! You can take a listen here -
