'Sitting in the Fire' is the Shaker Height's first release since 2007 after a couple of line up changes. The song deals with infidelity and self-loathing.
Sitting in the fire was recorded in Oxford with Jamie Hyatt from Family machine and mastered by the legendary Tim Turan. The recording features the dulcent tones of an Omnichord, a Casio LV Tone and a Rhodes piano alongside the more familiar guitars, keyboards, bass, drums and song-writer Vincent Cool's distinctive vocals.
Sitting in the Fire is accompanied by the attack-rock b-side 'Poised as Robots' and original artwork by independent artist Edward Dover.
