For decades there have been bands who bring a unique edge to their music by producing songs and sounds that could be described as 'dark'. Dark Edge merely brings these bands together for an amazing listening experience, and also a platform to bring together like-minded individuals. With added beer.
Anna Calvi, Zola Jesus, Esben & The Witch, The Joy Formidable, Warpaint, The Chapman Family, Austra - all excellent bands, also currently in favour with ears around the world.
Played alongside classic bands such as The Cure, Joy Division, The Smiths, Interpol, Pixies, these shadowy combos bring 'Dark Indie' music bang up to date.
Dark Edge is on selective Thursday nights.
The last bus is the Barton Indigo bus which leaves Beeston at 11.52pm going back to Nottingham Broad Marsh Centre.
