We're playing the Old Blue Last near Old Street. Sweeet.
It's owned by Vice Magazine yeah, so we're cool, yeah? And so forth.
Rumours we may dress up like Jedward so far unconfirmed - as soon as we can get in touch with ourselves we'll let you know. What is for sure is we are making a piñata of Louis Walsh for some good ol' fashioned East London stick hitting.
Beat and synth driven guitar noise with a hint of stylish desperation/abandon depending on number of drinks consumed.
Sounds like it should be cavemen, it's actually more like Prince making love to Ableton Live, i.e FUCKING AWESOME. They should be great fun.
Cold In Berlin
Previously known as Death Cigarettes. Musically, they inhabit that driving New York No Wave inspired sound – thrashing guitars, pounding drums and rumbling bass coupled with urgently delivered vocals. An obvious comparison is with early Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and there is certainly more than a touch of Karen O in enigmatic lead singer Maya.
http://www.facebook.com/pages/Tiny-Islands/141859383415 doesn't reveal much about their sound though.
