PAUL-RONNEY from the Urban Voodoo Machine (Dalston)
Short set from the hamonica-wielding frontman of bourbon-soaked, gypsy blues pop'n'strollers The Urban Voodoo Machine. Later, Mr. Paul-Ronney will be joining Vic on some songs as well!
LONELY JOE PARKER/JACKIE PAPER (aka Dave Miatt - Thomas Tantrum)
Bike Tour 2009 is an event with a difference. Over 14 days, two cities and hundreds of miles on two wheels, Lonely Joe Parker and Jackie Paper tour the south by bicycle raising money for Oxjam, CAAT, Ocean Youth Trust and Jail Guitar Doors.
The pair will also be promoting their limited edition, numbered 12-inch EP 'What's Wrong With Broken Glass', released through Sotones with profits going to Oxfam.
TRAIL OF DISGRACE (Brixton)
Currently holding the status of 'The Band That Lives Nearest To The Windmill', ToD's recent arrival in the neighbourhood is one we welcome.
ToD are: Two men. Two strings. Three drums. Dapper attire at all times. Dirty sounds in between Grinderman and The Stooges.
They're onstage at 8pm so get down early to get a great night off to a cracking start!
