- Educated by Benedictine monks in the valley of los Caídos, Víctor Herrero is a Spanish guitarist that infuses different styles such as classical, folk and jazz.
He recently played lead electric guitar on Josephine Foster’s newest album "This Coming Gladness" (Bo'Weavil Recordings, 2008). On this very same UK label he has released his own solo album "Anacoreta" which he is showcasing on this UK tour.
"Anacoreta" is a collection of his instrumental songs written for and interpreted upon the Spanish guitar.
The Family Elan
-The Family Elan is lead by Chris Hladowski, master of acoustic feed-back, spoons and all things stringed. His unique playing can be heard on other contemporary new-folk groups such as A Hawk and a Hacksaw, One Ensemble and Nalle to name just a few. He will be joined by Hanna Tuulikki (Nalle) for this performance in preparation for a European tour … www.myspace.com/familyelan
To see and hear these two playing together in ‘Nalle’ please watch this video:
-Following their performance at Leeds International Film Festival, locals Inecto School will attempt to fuse their chaotic sketches and sub-textural sounds with visuals of a crowded fire buring night on Woodhouse Moor. This is a continuing experiment the group is conducting with the Moor and local film makers…
Short films of Chris Hall
-Chris Hall is part of the multi talented EXP24 collective. At this event he will be performing a couple of live slow burning mini epics using multiple projectors and randomly placed audio.
