Jean Noir and Rich Nuvo bring you the first "Pamplemousse" of 2009!
Delightful noise-pop riot-boy/grrrl three-piece Le Tetsuo met at art school in Norwich, and since their move to London have received airplay on Radio 1 and XFM and released an EP through Parlour Records.
“Le Tetsuo do their thing like they heard awesome riot grrrl pioneers Huggy Bear seconds before… Rest assured, they’re a band on the rise” – NME
Now could be described as catchy, contemporary, inventive, exotic, melodious, harmonious and disharmonious 21st century pop music. Reasonably accurate points of reference would be Hot Chip, early Stereolab and electronically-integrated post-punk.
Their new album "The Hepadaboo" was released at the end of last year on Japanese imprint Flau.
“An antidote for musical apathy” – Drowned in Sound
EUROPE BOY – has promised an eerie, mysterious new dance move and records to accompany it.
STAINED GLASS HEROES – Debut album out soon!
JEAN NOIR – La hostess avec la mostess
