COPS AND ROBBERS PRESENTS....................
Six years in the making, Max Tundra's latest album 'Parallax Error Beheads You' is the craziest, most accomplished jumble of genres and chord changes he has ever created.... soul, rave, techno and chart R&B are all in the mix; the result is a bit like YMO and Steely Dan being remixed by Mouse on Mars. Ben forces more ideas into four epic minutes than most bands have in an entire album. Equally comfortable rocking Funder Strikes as he is remixing the Pet Shop Boys, Mr Tundra puts on an awesome solo show that showcases his talents as a vocalist and musician in a completely engaging and fun performance... fully energetic, poppy and danceable, and maybe you'll get to hear his KLF cover again! From the Royal Park to Joseph's Well to the Commonplace to the Leeds Academy, he is back with us at the Brudenell for one night only. You will dance!
BEN BUTLER & MOUSE PAD
BB&MP is the new solo project of Joe Howe, known previously for his awesome programming skillz in Gay Against You and Germlin. Joe has several years' experience making brilliant, eccentric compositions for labels like ADAADAT (home of Donna Summer and DJ Scotch Egg), with electro-pop sensibilities to rival Dat Politics. Ben Butler is his newest alter ego after living in Berlin for a while to work with Momus. We love Joe, he is ace, and we are told that the Ben Butler live experience is even better that G.A.Y.
The Take That! of Leeds 6.
Funder Strikes DJs will play appropriate tunes.
