Friday 7th November
Peace In The City presents an evening of bands playing alt-rock, space pop, dark and light melodies with DJs after til 4am. Plus a huge selection of drinks, real ales are on tap, wine you can drink and none of those plastic glasses that lots of venues seem to specialise in! A ridiculously cheap £5 entry or £4 with print out of this.
Live music from 8pm until 1130pm
edgy alt-rock 3-piece - just two electric guitars, vocals, drums and lashings of glockenspiel & saxophone.
Influenced by Spacemen 3 and MBV, fans of noise, feedback and synths.
"Monstrous black-clad pop songs from lauded band. Expect a tirade of Mary Chain/Psychedelic Furs feedback and fuzz, but not at the expense of some gloriously heady melodies" - Shot By Both Sides.
Agreeable guitar sounds in a Elbow, Eels, Neil Young vein.
Spencer Jude is a chamaeleon in many ways he's a musical shape shifter and an emotionally charged roller coaster, expect the unexpected.
After Sid Trotter playing a mash up of electronica, dance, indie and pop beats until 4am.
Doors 730pm. £5 entry or £4 with cut out of this.
