The Smiths-esque harmonica led single "Iron Mask" served as a great intro, but listen to the new single "What's The Question" - possibly the most epic, ambitious single you'll hear all year!!” Designer Magazine – Best New Bands for 2008
March 2008 sees the release of The Domino State’s second single ‘What’s The Question?’, via London live night / label Club AC30 and Popfiction. The single will be available as a limited edition 7-inch vinyl from www.clubac30.com and digital download on iTunes.
Closely trailing on the success of their first dark, brooding indie-anthem, ‘Iron Mask’, their second offering kicks down the tempo, unbuttons the cardigan and turns on the glitter-ball. From the opening rich bass lines to the final swells of reverse guitar, ‘What’s The Question’, like Matt Forder’s plaintive vocals, is unconventionally alluring. The B-side, ‘Big Six Wheel’, emerges subtly from its low growl, into layered melodies and a full-on acid-dripping guitar outro.
The guys are now back in the studio, recording more new tracks for their debut album scheduled for summer 2008.

“brooding, epic soundscape that hints at the sinister but also finds rooms for a substantial euphoric undercurrent.” Gigwise
“head swirling bliss fuelled abandon which might just knock you senseless into the middle of next week.” Losing Today
