Kabarett Spielraum Presents:
Musaion
The Temple of the Muses

Tuesday 13th November
8pm - Late

Featured Artists:

THE PHANTOM LOVERS Acoustic Showcase / PARS RADIO Feat. ROSHI / DAVE RUSSELL

THE PHANTOM LOVERS Acoustic Showcase
Phantom Lovers are fresh from working on their debut single, Heroes & Idols, produced and engineered by Richard Causon (Kings of Leon, Rufus Wainwright) and self-released by the band. The band will be performing a showcase featuring stripped-down acoustic versions of their songs.

In March 2007, Elsie Martins took her initial acoustic compositions and teamed up with Jonny, Tallie and Stefania. What resulted is music with a big sound that is uncompromising and distinctive -- although the fans of acts such as PJ Harvey, Cocteau Twins, Patti Smith, The Auteurs, and Jeff Buckley will certainly recognise some influences.

PARS RADIO feat ROSHI
Born in Wales to Iranian parents, Roshi Nasehi is a singer-songwriter performing her own evocative songs alongside some of the Iranian songs she was brought up listening to.

Early gigs saw her perform solo with her piano. But she now performs as Pars Radio, a collaboration between her and classical cellist Rachel Threlfall along with sound artist Graham Dids-Gagarin.

The combination of Roshi's airy vocals. Dids' avant garde sounds, and the haunting strings of Rachel's cello results in a unique genre-crossing, exotic, folktronica soundscape.

DAVE RUSSELL
Dave Russell is a lost legend from the 60s. He takes you on a trip through council estates and binoculars of wisdom to paper flowers and new hamlets. Ivor Cutler meets Jandeck meets the Incredible String Band.

Free Entry

3 Blind Mice is at 5 Ravey St (between Great Eastern St and Leonard St), Shoreditch, London, EC2A 4QW. Nearest tube is Old Street.
